CORU regulates multiple health and social care professions in Ireland, ensuring public safety through professional standards, education, and competence. Annual renewal is mandatory to continue practicing and involves completing the process via CORU’s online portal and paying the renewal fee.

Everything you need to keep your CORU registration active — in one place.

  • Step 01.

    Receive Renewal Notice.

    You should receive a renewal notice via email with instructions on the renewal process. If you haven’t received the email by the end of October, check your spam or junk folders or contact the dedicated customer care line.

  • Step 02.

    Log in to the CORU Website.

    Use the email address the notice was sent to and your password. If you forgot your password, use the ‘forgotten password’ button. Do not create a new account as you won’t be able to access your details.

  • Step 03.

    Gather and Photocopy Your Documents.

    Make sure to have copies of all your documents. You’ll need identification and police clearance.

  • Step 04.

    Apply for Registration Online.

    Visit the CORU website and pay the application fees of €100.

  • Step 05.

    Download and Complete Forms.

    At the end of the registration, download the necessary forms. Fill out the forms you downloaded.

  • Step 06.

    Get Your Photocopied Documents Certified.

    Ensure that your photocopied documents are certified.

  • Step 07.

    Email All Your Documents.

    Send all your documents in PDF format to registration@coru.ie.
