Before You Get Started.

Make sure you have the required documents ready before accessing the Candidate Portal. This allows us to complete onboarding quickly and efficiently. You will need:

  • Curriculum vitae: Please provide an up-to-date CV detailing your complete employment history and accounting for any gaps between positions (e.g., unemployment, gap year travel, career breaks).

    References X2: Provide two references covering three years, or one reference covering five years. Include contact details: work email, job role, phone number, and address. Referees must be current or former line managers / supervisors or, if you're a student, a teacher / lecturer / tutor. 

  • Right to work in Ireland: Please provide one of the following documents to verify your eligibility to work in Ireland:

    • Irish Passport: Clear colour copy of the photo page and inner pages, valid and signed.

    • EU Passport: Clear colour copy of the photo page and inner pages.

    • Irish Residence Permit (IRP): Clear colour copy of the front and back.

  • Provide one of the following combinations for identity verification:

    • Two forms of photographic ID and one address confirmation document.

    • One form of photographic ID and two address confirmation documents.

    At least one document must include your signature.

    If no photographic ID is available, provide:

    • Two forms of non-photo ID.

    • Two address confirmation documents.

    • A passport-sized photo signed by a reputable community member verifying your identity.

    Passport: Clear colour copy with all 4 corners of the photo pages showing. Please capture both sides of the inner pages and the front and back cover.

    Driving License: Clear colour copy with your Current Address.

    Personal Identification Photo ID: This can be from the list below.

    • current passport

    • a current photo-card driving licence

    • a national ID card and/or other valid documentation relating to immigration status and permission to work

    ID Badge Photo: This photo should have a white background for your ID badge.

    Proof of Address X2
    For proof of address, provide one of the following (dated within the last 6 months, mobile phone bills not accepted):

    • Recent utility bill

    • Bank or building society statement

    • Mortgage statement

    • Local council rent card or tenancy agreement

    • Benefit book/card or letter from the Department of Social Protection

    • Electoral register confirmation

    • Court order

    • Official document (e.g., P60, P45, payslip)

    Proof of PPS Number Provide a clear colour copy of the following:

    • Your passport (photo page and inner pages).

    • A current photo-card driving licence.

    • A national ID card or other valid immigration status document.

  • Statement of Entry: Download your current Statement of Entry from NMBI.

    Qualifications: Include your registered diploma/degree and any additional relevant qualifications

    Indemnity Insurance: Provide a current and valid Indemnity Insurance Letter.

  • As per Irish law, you must disclose any unspent criminal convictions or prosecutions pending. For roles involving direct contact with service users, also provide details of any spent convictions. Include the date, type of offence, sentence, and fine imposed on your application form.

    Garda Vetting

    • You will need to complete Garda Vetting, and this must be up-to-date.

  • All mandatory training must be up-to-date and compliant with Irish standards. Training requirements vary based on the role applied for.

  • Non-Exposure Prone Role

    • Hepatitis B Antibody

    • BCG Scar Certificate

    • Measles

    • Mumps

    • Rubella

    • Varicella

    Exposure Prone Role

    • Hepatitis B Antibody

    • BCG Scar Certificate
